I believe that objects that are non-related can still create a relationship.
Some of us tend to forget the ones who loved and helped us. I have been inspired by Sara Morris’ artwork. The way she arranged her objects and the colours created unity. In my artwork, I chose different types of fruits and sizes to represent that they are non-related. The bananas and the tangerine peel are the mothers, while the grapes and tangerines are the children. I arranged the grapes and tangerines to be surrounded by the bananas and the tangerine peel to symbolize children in their mother’s arms. I hope that this image can allow viewers to remember those who have trusted and cared for them. Whether it is their parents or strangers, they could stop for a second and spend some time with them or thank them.
