Every day, I always find something new to describe myself, as there’s always constant change in our life. The slow-motion of the colours mixing to create an abstract effect, before blending into one unison shade, represents that each individual thing we do eventually blends into one at the end, which is when there’s a true definition of who we truly are.
The beauty that was created was beyond my control as the colours made designs of their own, and became the driving force for this still life photograph. I had some control, but not all, which is quite representative of life in general.
Like several other things in life that don’t stand still, the droplets of food colouring would eventually dissolve, but the magic behind this is that the cool water creates a stillness so that the colours can roam freely. We never want life to stop, but we always enjoy a pause to it, similar to the effects behind the photograph. Overall, this photograph is a remembrance of moments in life we all experience.
