A Shattered Vision, Noah Moruzi, 2020

While working, I have a lot of ideas but I find expressing those ideas difficult. My insecurities lead to self-doubt, preventing me from expressing those ideas and having them come to life. I tried to capture this feeling in my image.
Still life is all about bringing a sort of emotion to inanimate objects, My idea, “A Shattered Vision” came from a play on words. The notebook, pen, and laptop in the background are supposed to give the feeling of a creative workplace where one would generate a vision. The glasses represent what I see in my mind’s eye, my creativity, my ideas and visions. These ideas are represented by the galaxy reflection in the lenses. The glasses have been broken signifying the destruction of the creative vision.
Trust that your ideas have merit. Don’t let your doubts stop you from expressing your dreams before they have had a chance to shine.
