We are spending a huge amount of time online and in front of screens. Our online presence has become even bigger during our lockdowns and stay at home orders.
Who we are online is often different than who we really are when we present ourselves to the world.
The subtle shadow on the wall represents this ‘other’ identity that we project through social media.
I want my photograph to plant a question in the viewer’s mind about how it would feel to deactivate their social media presence.
