My name is Matthew Mcgilvery and I go to Bernie Custis Secondary School. I like using old cameras and looking at old photos for inspiration for my pictures. A big influence to get me to start taking pictures was my great grandfather. When he passed away I got his old camera, and I wanted to use it for this, but I couldn’t find any film. My intention with this picture was to show people that no matter what happens or how the world looks to you, life is still life. Everyone views the world differently, and others may see or think things differently, but it’s all up to us to create our perspective as we navigate how other people think.
