Bottles of Crime, Jake Kha, 2020

As photography is a new subject for me, I tend to use objects as pieces for my photography, as I believe any object can have a meaning towards a story. When people look at an object, man-made or not, they think about using those objects to benefit themselves. Throughout our lives, we use anything and everything. These objects in the picture I provided are set up to make a scene of an execution, which you can focus on more since there’s nothing else in the background to distract you from looking at the focus. The object photography was an inspiration by Tim Brill, seeing that you can just create a story with almost no effort by going outside. The message the scene conveys is that there is still killing in our lives, where people would even agree with one another to co-operate in crime. We all still do not yet live without violence.
