I love to see unique self-expression in all forms. I love to see people who have felt oppressed their whole lives express themselves and finally feel free. The work I have created is so important to me because I feel that I have represented a type of freedom. Our society has looked down upon self-expression in many ways and I feel that, through my work, I have been able to portray the growth of our society. Our world has been enduring so much lately and I felt like I needed to experience something light and empowering. The model and I went to a national park and took in the beauty of our surroundings. My image represents the light that we found in a dark place and I hope that through my work, I can spread that to others.
