The message behind this photo holds a lot of power to my heart. I originally came up with this image idea after a recent breakup of almost a year. The red symbolizes the love and death of what was. The knife is shown bloody, giving meaning to an end of a chapter and death to old memories. The whiteness of the snow is a form of purity that clashes with the redness. I hold a deep love for this image as it is a way for me to move on and express my deep feelings of past memories.
