Glowing Life, Connor Hadlow, 2020

As an artist, I like to create simple work that projects meaning. It doesn’t take much to make a statement with your work, which is what I tried to do in this project. I think my art is unique because I can manage to convey a good looking image, that has meaning, while it also doesn’t have too much going on.
My inspiration for this piece was my brother's old photography. I remember when I was younger he was showing me a tool he used on his camera that only took one colour from an image, and I thought it was the coolest thing. So I wanted to create an image similar to his work.
I want people to think about my work, and how it relates to their life or people around their life, or maybe even think of problems in our world.
