One Hot Potato, Ava Hsieh, 2021
Having a negative view of our body image is a mindset that many of us suffer from. To enlighten our negative view of our bodies we often compare ourselves to objects that aren’t perfect nor considered beautiful. A popular comparison is “I look like a potato”, which inspired me to compose an image of a “hot” potato. I wanted this image to demonstrate that even if we are potatoes we can still be hot and beautiful.
