In creating this work I greatly enjoyed the simplicity of it, and how with very little material or detail, I could create something interesting. I was heavily inspired by other artists’ work that I viewed and also by the environment around me. Based upon the season when I was creating my work and the general atmosphere of that time of year, I chose a holiday theme. In the end, I hope that whoever looks at it, will connect with them and their own personal holiday experiences and memories.
