It is important the viewer looks at my work and reflects on their past relationships. I want them to think about how the shadows and remnants of heartbreak and bad experiences remain in our psyche and how they play a role in our current and future ones. Whether our relationships are good or awful, they are all mixed up together and play a role in how we present ourselves to others, view the world and carry ourselves forward.
